Most visitors ‘whisper’ in Imran’s ears: Marwat
PTI leader says these people understand the mood of Imran Khan very well and get their work done from him
ISLAMABAD: The recently expelled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf legislator, Sher Afzal Marwat, claimed on Friday that among those who visit party founder Imran Khan in Adiala Jail, only one is a lawyer, while the remaining nine are there to “whisper” in his ears.
Talking to the media here, he remarked, “You will not see them as lawyers in any court. I challenge you, among the famous lawyers who appear in the media, who is the lawyer of the PTI founder except for one? Lawyers have basically started the work of messaging”. He said lawyers go and lodge complaints with the PTI founder.
When asked does the party founder believe in things so quickly, the firebrand lawmaker said these people understand the mood of Imran Khan very well and get their work done from him.
Marwat was thrown out of the party a couple of days back over “violation of the party policy/discipline”. Marwat said he has always been loyal to the party supremo, but he will never compromise on his principles.
“Loyalty to the party does not mean that every decision should be accepted blindly, but we should keep trying to keep the party on the right path,” he said. This is the second time he has been expelled from the party.
