DIR: Deputy Commissioner Naveed Akbar said on Sunday a three-week cleanliness drive has been launched in Upper Dir under the special orders of the chief minister.The deputy commissioner inaugurated the campaign along with Tehsil Chairman Rafiullah Khan, RDD senior Engineer Mehran Khan and TMO Dir Shafiq.
“The purpose of this campaign is to make the Upper Dir district clean and beautiful,” the deputy commissioner added.He said that keeping the environment clean was everyone’s responsibility. He appealed to traders and the public to cooperate with officials to make the campaign a success. A special awareness walk was also organized, in which traders and members of civil society participated.
