Suzuki Pakistan organises beach clean-up to promote marine conservation
KARACHI: Pak Suzuki Motor Co organised a beach cleaning campaign at Seaview Clifton on Saturday, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability under Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan’s global ‘Clean-up the World Campaign’.
The initiative, part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, saw participation from employees and their families, dealers and vendors. The campaign aimed to combat the rising environmental pollution threatening marine life and coastal ecosystems.
Addressing the media, Pak Suzuki’s Managing Director and CEO Hiroshi Kawamura underscored the urgency of tackling coastal pollution, which he said is not only degrading natural beauty but also harming marine biodiversity, tourism and economic activity. “Beach cleaning is a critical environmental endeavour that requires collective action to ensure a cleaner and healthier future,” he said.
He concluded his message with a call to action “Together, we can make a difference. Let’s work for a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future”.
