Saud Shakeel to lead Gladiators in PSL-10
LAHORE: Quetta Gladiators have announced Saud Shakeel as their new captain for the upcoming 10th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL-10).
Last year, Rilee Rossouw was appointed captain after former skipper Sarfraz Ahmed. However, the franchise has now decided to hand over the reins to Saud Shakeel. The Gladiators made the announcement on their official X account, stating that they believe Shakeel has the potential to lead the team to new heights.
According to sources, former captain Sarfraz Ahmed is likely to take on the role of head coach, replacing Shane Watson. Meanwhile, Moin Khan is expected to be appointed as the director of cricket. Saud Shakeel, currently the vice-captain of the Pakistan Test team, has been entrusted with the responsibility of leading the Gladiators in the PSL.
