Vlogger given unprecedented punishment

LAHORE: A special judicial magistrate has sentenced vlogger Rajab Ali Butt to a year of community service for illegally owning a lion cub. According to details, instead of traditional punishment Rajab Butt is required to create a vlog each month highlighting animal rights, beginning in February 2025 and continuing until January 2026. The verdict, issued by Magistrate Hamidul Rehman Nasir, requires Rajab Butt to produce a five-minute video during the first week of every month. Earlier pleaded guilty to the charge of possessing the lion cub without proper authorisation.
