Video showing cop assaulting Chinese national goes viral
Police are yet to issue an official statement regarding the matter

A police officer assigned to the security of Chinese nationals in Karachi has been caught on video assaulting a Chinese individual.
The footage, which has gone viral, shows Inspector Ali Memon, a member of the Special Protection Unit (SPU) tasked with safeguarding CPEC-related personnel, kicking the Chinese person. In the video, the individual can be heard asking the officer to leave his house, prompting the officer to resort to violence. Inspector Memon had previously been suspended over allegations of corruption. The police are yet to issue an official statement regarding the matter.
