Kidnappers blow themselves up during operation in Qila Saifullah
Abducted man who was identified as Jumma Rahim who is a dispenser was recovered safely
QUETTA: Two out of three kidnappers have blown them up during security forces operation on Thursday in Qila Saifullah area conducted for the recovery of a man who was abducted by armed men after killing his business partner the other day.
The officials said that the third kidnapper was killed by security forces in exchange of fire during the operation. The abducted man who was identified as Jumma Rahim who is a dispenser was recovered safely.
According to the assistant commissioner Qila Saifullah, Naveed Alam, armed men had intercepted two persons in Gawal Ismailzai, a locality between Qila Saifullah and Zhob and kidnapped them. However, Masood Khan offered resistance on which the armed men opened fire and killed him while another one was taken with them.
Soon after receiving information the levies and its quick response force immediately started chasing the kidnapper while the tribesmen of the area also joined them.
He said that the levies and QRF personnel along with tribesmen cordoned them off in a hilly area where heavy exchange of fire took place. However, during the operation when forces tried to arrest them, two of them blew themselves up as they were wearing explosive laden jackets.
In the exchange of fire the third armed man was killed by the forces and recovered dispenser Jumma Rahim safely, who was running his clinic and a medical store.
The bodies of all the three kidnappers were shifted to the hospital. Officials said that a search operation is continuing to arrest the other members of the kidnappers gang who are involved in kidnapping for ransom.
