LAHORE: Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar has promoted 26 inspectors to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
The officers promoted include Inspector Rehan Zia, Syed Aftab Ahmed, Syed Khawar Hussain, Abdul Majeed, Naseer Ahmed Khan, Asad Mahmood Qureshi, M Ashraf, Alam Din, Syed Ali Jafar Raza, Mubashir Ali Anwar, Abdul Qadir, Ali Ahmed, M Naveed Javed, M Akmal Umar, Tariq Mahmood, M Hussain Haider, Shahzeb Khan, Khurram Shahzad, Javed Akhtar, Wasim Aslam, Ijaz Ahmed, Babar Shaukat, Aamir Iqbal, Khalid Mahmood, Abdul Ghaffar Khan, and M Ziarat.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, this is the first time in the department's history that the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) process was conducted using a fully digitised system. Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) were also finalised through the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), ensuring transparency and efficiency.
