SSGC’s Ali sets record in National Cycling

LAHORE: SSGC cyclist Ali Ilyas broke his own national record in the Individual Pursuit event at the 69th National Track Cycling Championship Saturday, clocking an impressive 4:54.54 over 4000 metres at the Cycling Velodrome.
SSGC dominated the day’s proceedings, clinching gold in both men’s and women’s elite Team Sprint events.
KP and Punjab secured silver and bronze, respectively, in the men’s category, while Punjab and Sindh took second and third places in the women’s event.
