PIFD senate meeting
LAHORE: The 15th meeting of the Senate of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) was held here the other day which was chaired by Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training.
According to a press release, the chairperson of the meeting commented that PIFD has consistently been a beacon of excellence in nurturing talent across Pakistan. Due to unwavering efforts of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and support of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), PIFD opened its training centres in Karachi, Islamabad and Skardu and will now provide aspiring designers in these areas with the same level of guidance, expertise, and opportunities.
In the meeting, important Academic, Financial and Administrative matters were discussed and decided. After the conclusion of the meeting, the members visited the thesis display and appreciated the students’ skills and abilities.
