APS tragedy: Schools to remain closed today

LAHORE:The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore has announced that all public and private schools and colleges in Lahore will remain closed today (Monday). However, all universities will remain open. A notification has been issued to commemorate the martyrs of the Army Public School (APS) tragedy in Peshawar and the Fall of Dhaka.
The DC Lahore emphasised that the sacrifices of the APS martyrs would never be forgotten, and the tragedy of December 16, 2014, remains a deep wound for the nation. The martyrdom of the children in the Peshawar tragedy has strengthened and united the nation.
