Decision to include Pakistan in International Engineering Alliance likely in June
Final report with recommendations will be sent to Governing Council for decision, which will be held in Mexico
ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the International Engineering Alliance (IEA) will be held in Mexico next year in June, which will decide about including Pakistan in the alliance.
According to sources, representatives of the three signatory countries of IPEA held the first review meeting in this regard at the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) headquarters. Pakistan Engineering Council Registrar Dr. Nasir Muhammad Khan, heads of Registration Departments, CPD Department and Accreditation Department attended the meeting.
Dr. Nasir Muhammad Khan gave a detailed briefing to the review meeting. Sources say that the review will continue till the middle of January 2025.
The final report with recommendations will be sent to the Governing Council for decision, which will be held in Mexico in June 2025. The Pakistan Engineering Council will represent Pakistan in the IEA.
