Convocation arranged at CECOS University

PESHAWAR: The CECOS University arranged the annual convocation on Wednesday where graduates were awarded degrees and the excelling ones medals in recognition of academic performance.

Prof Dr M Qasim Jan, former minister for Higher Education, was the chief guest.In his welcome speech, CECOS University President Engr. Muhammad Tanveer Javed reflected on the seats of learning legacy of nurturing talent and fostering innovation. He commended the graduates for their hard work and expressed confidence in their ability to contribute positively to society.

Vice Chancellor Dr Naseer Ahmad highlighted the university’s commitment to providing quality education and developing well-rounded professionals equipped to face modern challenges.He acknowledged the collective efforts of the faculty and administration in ensuring the academic success of the graduating batch.

Degrees were conferred upon graduates across various disciplines, including engineering, life sciences, business, computer sciences, and architecture.Gold medals and special awards were presented to outstanding students in recognition of their exceptional academic performance.

The chief guest congratulated the graduates on their achievements and emphasized the importance of perseverance, innovation, and ethical values in shaping successful careers. “You are the shapers of tomorrow, and your education is the foundation upon which you will build your future,” he remarked.
