Jang Group, Bulls Eye DDB win Gold Dragon Award
Award recognises Jang Group's "Vision 2047” campaign as most outstanding marketing campaigns across Asia
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan flag flew high in Asia as the Bulls Eye DDB won the Gold Dragon Award for the Jang Group’s “Vision 2047” campaign at the Dragons of Asia 2024 award ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The award recognizes the most outstanding marketing campaigns across Asia and this win came in the highly competitive Best Use of Media category.
The Jang Group’s “Vision 2047” was an ambitious project that invited Pakistanis to share their hopes and visions for the future of the nation as it looks towards its 100th Independence Day in 2047. This campaign was an attempt to create a futuristic vision of the country, truly reflecting the aspirations, hopes, and wishes of its people. Through a unique and interactive process, people from all walks of life contributed ideas via WhatsApp, emails, and letters. The project harnessed the power of AI technology to process these inputs and transform them into a visually striking, thought-provoking newspaper edition that encapsulated the nation’s collective dreams for the future.
Senator Sarmad Ali, managing director of the Jang and Geo Media Group, expressed his pride in the campaign’s success and said: “‘Vision 2047’ was a bold and meaningful project for us as it showcased the future and potential of print media.
At a time of uncertainty and economic challenges, we wanted to spread positivity and inspire the nation. This campaign is proof of what can happen when creativity, technology, and purpose come together.”
Shoaib Qureshy, managing director of the Bulls Eye DDB, said: “This is a proud moment for our marketing and advertising industry as we made Pakistan proud in the world. It also speaks for our agency’s talent and work quality as we competed with the best in Asia and won Gold.”
He thanked his client, Sarmad Ali, for believing in and partnering on this idea and giving his full support to make it happen as envisioned.”
