‘Great Debate’ with economists, entrepreneurs to be on ‘Geo News’ today

KARACHI: Pakistan’s economy is facing serious challenges, including skyrocketing electricity bills and rising inflation. Can people expect immediate relief?
Is it possible to revise contracts with independent power producers? In this context, “Geo News” has organised a new “Great Debate.” Esteemed economic experts and prominent entrepreneurs from the country will participate in this discussion, titled “Pakistan Kay Liye Kar Dalo.”
Among the participants are Federal Energy Minister Awais Leghari, CEO of Hubco Kamran Kamal, CEO of Lucky Electric Power Rohail Muhammad, Vice President of FPCCI Asif Inam, economist Ammar Habib Khan, and former caretaker minister Gohar Ijaz. Senior journalist, analyst and anchor Shahzad Iqbal will host the programme.
The “Great Debate” will be aired at 7pm on Sunday on “Geo News.”
