Seven FC soldiers martyred in Kurram attack

PARACHINAR: Seven Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers were martyred and two injured in a terrorist attack in the central Kurram, sources said.
The sources said a group of armed terrorists attacked the FC soldiers in Pastooni village in the limits of the Chinarik Police Station.
The attack was carried out near a water channel which the FC soldiers would visit to fetch water. The terrorist attack claimed the lives of seven FC soldiers and left two others injured.
The martyred soldiers were identified as Jalal, Arif, Wahdat, Imran, Mustafa, Javed and Awais.
The injured soldiers included Abid and Baqi. The bodies and injured were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital in the Thall town. The area where the attack was staged is located near the boundaries of Orakzai and Khyber districts.
