Wapda, Customs cruise into semis

ISLAMABAD: Wapda, Army, and Pakistan Customs have made it to the quarter-finals of the 37th National Junior Hockey Championship underway here at the Bunda Hockey Ground.
Wapda outplayed Balochistan 10-0 with Yasir, Babar, Mohammad Hussain and Nadeem Khan scoring twice each. In Sunday’s other matches, Customs beat Punjab Whites 3-0 while Army got the better of Islamabad 7-0.
The match between Navy and Punjab Red ended in a 2-2 draw. Rana Waleed and Mohammad Usman scored two goals each for Navy. Punjab responded through Mohammad Aziz and Mohammad Adeel.
