ISLAMABAD: The National Coordinator for National Counter Terrorism Authority (Nacta) Rai Tahir has been removed from his office for unknown reasons.
The Establishment Division, in this regard, issued a notification removing the National Coordinator of Nacta Rai Tahir from his post. Tahir has been instructed to report to the Establishment Division.
In April 2022, after the federal cabinet’s approval, the federal government removed Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General Dr Sanaullah Abbasi. It appointed Grade-21 officer and national coordinator for Nacta Rai Tahir as his successor.
