Islamabad:The Tee to Triumph golf training programme, focused on developing young female talent, concluded here.
The programme, attended by 25 girls aged 7 to 18, was organised by Serena Hotels in partnership with Margalla Greens Golf Club from July 22 to August 1. Participants benefited from comprehensive training led by experienced golf coaches, who provided expert advice on both fundamental and advanced aspects of the game. The sessions were designed to enhance the girls' abilities, build their confidence, and promote teamwork.
The event featured Ayesha Fauzan, a celebrated golfer and role model for aspiring young players. As the guest of honour, her presence delivered a significant boost in motivation, encouraging the young golfers to chase their dreams with enthusiasm and commitment. The Tee to Triumph programme wrapped up with a special closing ceremony where the girls were recognised for their achievements. Medals were awarded in various categories to honour the notable progress and skill development of the participants.
The final day allowed the girls to demonstrate their newly honed skills and receive acknowledgement for their dedication and hard work. Serena Hotels and Margalla Greens Golf Club congratulated participants and expressed gratitude to Ayesha Fauzan for invaluable support and said the partnership highlighted a mutual commitment to fostering young talent and advancing the sport of golf for young women.
