CM, CS, IGP, corps commander and other officials will attend the meeting
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is going to hold a meeting of the provincial Apex Committee today (Thursday) on the Bannu protest firing incident, sources said on Wednesday.
They said that the chief minister, chief secretary, inspector general of police, corps commander and other officials will attend the meeting.
Five members of the Bannu Amn Jirga, including Baz Mohammad, Prof Ibrahim, Nasir Bangash, Adnan Wazir and provincial Minister Malik Pakhtoon Yar will also attend it.
The meeting of the Apex Committee may consider forming a commission on the Bannu firing incident at the protest rally recently.
The members of the Bannu Amn Jirga had presented their demands to the provincial government at a meeting with the chief minister recently.
There were reports that the chief minister had accepted these all demands of the Bannu Amn Jirga but there was no official word on that.
