The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Karachi, closed its operations for non-European Union citizens on Monday.
According to a social media post from the German Consulate, they have closed their services for non-European Union citizens due to imminent security concerns “until further notice.” However, already-issued visas for non-European Union citizens could be picked up.
The German Consulate Karachi handles visa operations for Sindh and Balochistan, which will be affected by the shutdown. Meanwhile, the German Embassy in Islamabad will continue its operations for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.
