RAWALPINDI: Former federal minister Shibli Faraz, Rauf Hassan, Intizar Panjotha, former Gilgit-Baltistan CM Khalid Khurshid, Sanaullah Mastikhel and Ray Salman Aftab met the PTI founder in the Adiala jail on Thursday and discussed with him political and legal issues, jail sources said.
Besides, former first lady Bushra Bibi’s daughter Mubashra also met her mother in Adiala jail on Thursday and discussed with her political and domestic issues, the jail sources said, adding that Mubashra spent more than two hours with her mother Bushra Bibi.
Meanwhile, Deputy Superintendent Jail Mohammad Akram was removed from his post on Thursday, while Deputy Superintendent Judicial Tahir Siddique Shah replaced him as security supervisor of PTI founder Imran Khan. The Punjab home department (prison section), through a notification, removed Muhammad Akram, directing him to leave the charge and report to the Prisons Department, Lahore.
