DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A Frontier Corps (FC) official embraced martyrdom when unidentified people opened fire on him here in the Kulachi town of the Dera Ismail Khan district on Sunday.
The sources said the FC official, identified as Muhammad Zubair, was posted in Balochistan. He had come to his hometown after undergoing training.
He was sitting at the cell phone shop of his brother when unidentified assailants riding a bike fired at him and took his life. It was learnt that the FC man was planning to leave to rejoin his duties later in the day.
