KP resources being exploited, says Babak
Certain forces did not want ANP to reach the parliament because it was the only party that had always fought for the provincial rights at all forums: says Babak
KHAR: Awami National Party (ANP) leader and former minister Sardar Hussain Babak said on Saturday that resources of Pakhtun soil were being exploited but no one had the courage to question this exploitation.
“Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur must raise voice for the rights of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as it was now the prime responsibility of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to protect the rights and resources of Pakhtuns,” he said while addressing a public meeting held in connection with the election campaign of ANP candidate for NA-8 Maulana Khanzeb and PK-22 candidate Shah Naseer Khan here.
Maulana Khanzeb, Gul Afzal Khan, Shah Naseer Khan and others also addressed the public meeting.
The ANP leader said that the PTI had staged a sit-in for 126 for the party in Islamabad but now their leaders should come forward in the same spirit to raise voice for the KP rights, and his party would support any such move wholeheartedly.
He said that certain forces did not want ANP to reach the parliament because it was the only party that had always fought for the provincial rights at all forums.
He urged the party workers and activists to convey the message of Bacha Khan to all the Pakhtuns to win their rights with his philosophy.
