Two arrested for killing woman
LAHORE: Police arrested two persons on charges of killing a woman in the limits of Islampura police. The victim identified as Anis Bibi was killed by her stepson Ameer Hamza and son-in-law Usman. According to police sources, the accused Usman, the son-in-law of the victim, had a relationship with the daughter-in-law of the victim. The victim had come to know about the relationship between Usman and her daughter-in-law.
The accused Usman offered Ameer Hamza, the stepson of the victim, the money which he accepted and got involved in the murder plan. The accused served an intoxicated substance to the victim and killed her with sticks on 9th February.
The accused pretended that the victim Anis Bibi had fallen in the washroom and succumbed to these injuries. Police arrested Usman and Ameer Hamza. Aneela, the daughter-in-law of the victim, was also interrogated.
