LAHORE: Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique visited Mayo Hospital on Thursday. He visited Eye Ward, Child Emergency Block, TB and Chest Department and Child Surgical Block of Mayo Hospital. On this occasion, Additional Secretary Development Department of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Agha Nabil, Prof Dr Asghar Naqi, Prof Dr Moin, Prof Dr Ahsan Nauman, MS Dr Faisal Masood, Prof Dr Ali Ayaz, Prof Dr Asad Aslam Khan, Dr Salman Kazmi. and C&W officers were present.

The provincial minister made a detailed review of the ongoing revamping project at Mayo Hospital. Contractors and C&W officials gave a briefing in this regard. The minister said on this occasion that the contractors were instructed to complete the ongoing revamping work in Mayo Hospital in any case on time. Patients visiting the hospital should not experience any difficulties during the revamping process. After the revamping project is completed, patients will get a lot of convenience. We are continuously monitoring the revamping project at Mayo Hospital. We will not tolerate a single cent lapse on the revamping project. Meanwhile, the provincial minister also visited Services Hospital to review the revamping project. He visited the admin block, surgical ward, private rooms and other wards of Services Hospital. Additional Secretary Development Department of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Agha Nabil, MS Services Hospital Dr Munir Ahmed Malik, IDAP and other officers were present on this occasion. Khawaja Salman Rafique was given a detailed review of the ongoing revamping project at Services Hospital. Contractors and IDP officers gave a briefing in this regard.
