Gandapur met Shehbaz with Imran’s permission: Gohar
Speaking to the media he said: “Obviously, he had to make a demand to a person who is occupying the prime minister’s slot”
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan Thursday said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was necessary as the Centre owed a lot of money to the province.
Speaking to the media here, he said: “Obviously, he had to make a demand to a person who is occupying the prime minister’s slot.”
He said that Gandapur met Shehbaz with the permission of PTI founder chairman Imran Khan.
He added that a working relationship was in any case necessary to get the provincial government’s money released from the Centre.
Another senior PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat alleged that Attaullah Tarar started his ministry by lying that the PTI was trying to get Pakistan defaulted, which is totally untrue and PTI and its chairman had strongly denied this.
He regretted that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was checking the price of onion by boarding a helicopter, which cost much more than that.
