FBISE launches fully automated public services system
Islamabad: In a landmark development for Pakistan’s education sector, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad, has unveiled the nation’s first fully automated public services system. This pioneering initiative represents a significant leap from traditional manual processes to a modern, hybrid approach, establishing a new benchmark for operational efficiency and service accessibility for all 29 Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education across the country.
The innovative system introduces a suite of essential services, now available online, including the issuance of migration/NOC certificates, result verification, and duplicate Result Cards provision. This transformation eliminates the need for cumbersome bureaucratic procedures, promising applicants a remarkable turnaround time of just 3 minutes for service delivery, contingent upon fee verification.
Shortly, the system is set to expand its offerings to include services such as subject change, result cancellation, and corrections in current session particulars, further enhancing the administrative efficiency and response time to public requests.
A standout feature of this automated system is its user-centric design, offering a straightforward application process. Applicants are required to submit their registration number, examination year, and postal address to receive a direct link for service access via WhatsApp or email. Ensuring the highest standards of security and authenticity, issued documents can be verified through a unique tracking ID or verification link provided on the document.
Qaisar Alam, Chairman of FBISE, lauded the efforts of the IT team led by Director IT Dr. Bashir Khan Yousafzai, highlighting the board’s dedication to fostering innovation and excellence. He stated, “The launch of the fully automated public services system is a testament to our commitment to improving efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in the realm of education administration.”
