ISLAMABAD: Security has been beefed up across the country in the aftermath of politics-related terror incidents in KP and Balochistan and serious threat of bombing received for Adiala Jail.
The security in the federal capital has also been enhanced, particularly in the peripheries of sensitive buildings and Diplomatic Enclave.
Political leaders engaged in electioneering have been advised to take utmost care in their movement. Sources said the threat alert has been issued for the week starting today (Thursday).
The DIG Prison has reportedly written to Rawalpindi police chief, intimating him about the threat to Adiala Jail. The call was made from inside Afghanistan. The caller reminded him that the prison would be blown up within three days.
