No one can defeat determined nations: Shehbaz
He said when he took over as prime minister, the country was on the verge of bankruptcy
LAHORE: PMLN President and former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif has said no one can defeat the nations determined not to be defeated.
He said the country was facing challenges on economic, political and external levels and the PMLN would leave no stone unturned to change the unfavourable conditions of the country, after coming to power.
He expressed these views while talking to people related to digital media here on Wednesday. He said when he took over as prime minister, the country was on the verge of bankruptcy.
In response to a question, he said the election of February 8 was very important from the economic and social point of view. “To turn the wheel of prosperity quickly, we have to make efforts day and night to realize the dream of Quaid-i-Azam.” He said Nawaz Sharif’s 40-year politics had always been subject to ups and downs due to his firm stand.
The young generation plays its full role in a country’s politics and economic development and the PMLN always organized comprehensive programs to bring the youth into the national mainstream and will provide them with high opportunities for education and employment. In its tenures, the PMLN distributed lakhs of laptops among the youth and made them economically independent.
The election process has entered its final stage and new journeys of development are underway and for this, the youth should stamp on ‘tiger” on February 8.
He said he was the prime minister for 16 months and made solid economic policies to save the country from bankruptcy.
