Issuing the show-cause notice, Deputy Secretary Abdul Jalil Khan Marwat asked Zaman to explain why he misused the name of PTI founder Imran Khan for taking out a rally at Clifton’s Teen Talwar though there were directions for the candidates for taking out rallies in their own constituencies.

Marwat said the district leadership denied any consultation for taking out rally at Teen Talwar and such a decision led to the registration of an FIR against over 4.000 activists in which anti-terrorism law sections were included.

He asked Khurrum Sher Zaman to explain why disciplinary proceedings should not be initiated against him for sabotaging the election campaign of the PTI and misusing the name of the party founder.
