Anti-smog steps: Court orders planting at campuses rooftops

LAHORE:Justice Shahid Karim of the Lahore High Court on Wednesday issued a written order for the previous hearing of the smog remediation case.
The court ordered planting flower saplings at the rooftops of educational institutions and the report be submitted in the next hearing. According to the judicial commission report, 114 units have committed pollution violations, industrial units have submitted affidavits, 24 industrial units are still sealed. The government lawyer said that Lesco officials cut trees on which PHA submitted an application to register a criminal case against Lesco.
