Diverse dramatic showcase marks grand finale of PNCA’s festival
Islamabad:In a spectacular culmination, the three-day drama festival organized by the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) came to an end, leaving the audience enthralled with a rich tapestry of performances. Held under the patronage of PNCA, the festival showcased an array of talents from 23 universities and theatre groups across Pakistan.
Makhdoom University students kicked off the festivities with a dynamic blend of stand-up comedy and soul-stirring Sufi dance, setting the tone for a weekend filled with artistic flair. The Nust Dramatics Club presented a captivating play, while the Quaid-e-Azam Dramatics Club brought laughter to the audience with a stand-up comedy act. Team Master Lahore added a vibrant touch with a mesmerizing dance performance.
A notable highlight of the event was the presence of Saadia Hayat Khan, a revered figure in the television industry, known for her prowess as an artist, model, compère, and producer. Her participation added an extra layer of glamour and prestige to an already illustrious gathering.
