WANA: The ongoing sit-in by the Dottani tribe for the restoration of mobile phone signals and internet service in Toi Khullah Tehsil of the South Waziristan Lower entered into fourth day on Thursday.
The sit-in participants have closed the Wana-Zhob road for all types of traffic. A large number of local elders and youths are participating in the sit-in protest.
The protesters said the main reason for the road closure was that there was internet service in other parts of the country but the people of Toi Khullah Tehsil were deprived of the facility even in this modern era.
They said Toi Khullah was the only tehsil of the district which was peaceful and free from terrorism, yet the government was not treating the people living there well.
