SNGPL sports gala in progress
LAHORE:The exciting events of 4-day SNGPL Sports Gala were organised at Punjab Stadium on Wednesday. As many as 336 male and female players of 21 teams from different regions are participating in various games including cricket, badminton, tug-of-war, table tennis, volleyball and athletics during the mega event.
Earlier, SNGPL MD Amer Tufail formally inaugurated the Annual Sports Gala of Sui Northern Gas. President Sui Northern Sports Cell Imtiaz Mahmood, President CBA Zubair Khan, M Arshad, Imran Safdar Virk, Kanwal Wazir, Aftab Ashraf and Khalid Mahmood were also present on this occasion. Speaking on this occasion, SNGPL MD Amer Tufail emphasised that sports nurture team building process as it boosts performance and productivity of officers and staff. Women players are equally competitive and it feels good to see them competing men in sports events, he added.
