ISLAMABAD: Relatives of martyrs have demanded restoration of military courts in the country for speedy trial of terrorists.
Addressing a joint news conference on Wednesday, they said there should be no leniency towards terrorists. They said a formal petition will be filed in the Supreme Court on Monday, requesting revival of military courts and Official Secrets Act.
The family members of martyrs, who came from across Pakistan, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, said over 85,000 Pakistani citizens have lost their lives due to terrorism.
