Hate speech: Court reserves verdict in Capt Safdar case
GUJRANWALA: A local court has reserved its decision in a hateful speech case against PMLN leader Captain (retd) Safdar. Safdar appeared in the court of Judicial Magistrate Faisalul Islam who, after hearing lawyers, reserved the decision which will be announced on October 28.
The case had been registered against Safdar in the Satellite Town Police Station for delivering hateful speeches against state institutions.
Talking to media later, Safdar said no political force was involved in sending Imran Khan to jail. Allah proved that Nawaz Sharif was innocent and now Imran Khan should prove his innocence. He said the PTI had burst into pieces. When Nawaz Sharif was in jail, no one could break his party.
The PMLN lives in the hearts of people and will be in power again. Nawaz Sharif has come to Pakistan to streamline the economy. He has always said that he has left his affairs with Allah and come here for the stability of the state, not revenge. “We have to save the state and economy and the key to this problem is only with Nawaz Sharif,” he concluded.
