Govt allies given two days to name caretaker PM

ISLAMABAD: All parties in the coalition government have been given a deadline of two days to name the caretaker prime minister in consultation with their leadership.
A consultative meeting of the leaders of government coalition parties was held at the Parliament House in which PPP, PMLN, Muslim League-Q, Jamhoori Watan Party and other parties participated.
Sources say that Naveed Qamar, Khursheed Shah, Ayaz Sadiq, Saad Rafiq, Manzoor Kakar and Shah Zain Bugti attended the meeting.
All the political parties were given a deadline of two days to name the caretaker prime minister. It was decided that all the political parties should give names within two days in consultation with the party leadership.
Sources say that there was no consultation on the dissolution of provincial assemblies in the meeting. According to sources, the allies agreed to continue the consultation for the formation of the caretaker setup and decided to re-convene the advisory meeting of the allies on the setup. It should be noted that the term of the current assembly ends on August 12.
