you & me

From RJ to modelling, TV, film and theatre, one would find Mustafa Changazi displaying versatility in all trajectories of showbiz. Mustafa’s interest in theatre was piqued when he watched ‘Phantom of the Opera’ in Copenhagen and instantly fell in love with it. He thought of theatre as an idyllic forum of expression to disseminate social messages.

As a first step, he started partaking in school plays and inculcated the confidence for the performing art. He came up with his first commercial play called ‘The Crucibles’ starring as the lead, John Proctor. The unprecedented applause boosted his morale, which led him to direct and produce his own play ‘V for Vendetta’. He created a theatre production company with his friends known as Plan-A Productions. In many of his plays he was the mastermind of creating and conceptualising the characters.

Later on, ace director Shah Sharabeel casted him as Tom in the play ‘Tom, Dick and Harry’. Courtesy to its humorous scoundrels, riveting concept and scathing social satire, the play brought Mustafa the kind of fame he needed and his tremendous performance made him an obvious choice of Nida Butt’s musical ‘Grease’ which broke all records.

His transition to television came with the serial ‘Bari Apa’, which was followed by ‘Humnasheen’, ‘Meethi si lagan’ and ‘Tumhare Siwa’. Moreover, in 2014, he debuted in films with ‘Operation 021’. Apart from working in ‘Abduallah -The Final Witness’, Mustafa has voiced over for movie ‘3 Bahadur’.
