The best part is that this season’s trends will keep you looking chic and glamorous. Read on to find out more...

The colour palette:

Choosing appropriate colours according to the season is the most important rule that everyone must follow. Those who are addicted to bright hues, the good news is colours like lime, cobalt blue, bright yellow and fuchsia are in vogue. Also, lovers of soft tones are in luck as pastel shades like lavender, orchid, peach and dusty rose are the it colours of this season. These shades are light enough to make one look pretty. The best change you can bring to your wardrobe this season is to choose colours that you have never worked with before. Make sure to select a hue that reflects your personality and voila you are all set to flaunt your style.A feel of cambric

Prints & patterns:

Floral prints: Blooms continue to flourish. One thing about floral prints is that it is feminine. Florals never go out of style and look perfect in any season. Flowers are always in season and pastel or bright colours with floral prints look especially intriguing and romantic. Tiny floral, over sized floral, the retro floral and the delicate pastel floral prints are everywhere. When it comes to floral prints, there is something for everyone. However, it is absolutely essential to choose the flower prints that suit your personality as there are a variety of flower styles to choose from. You can go for a playful, graphic daisy-print dress or a print of roses. You can go subtle or bold as any design can look great if combined with the perfect fashionable items to create a feminine stylish look.

Digital prints: We all know that these days digital technique prints are still very in. 3D prints are usually much more coloured, so they attract a great amount of attention. Circles, lines, florals, birds, buildings, you can find everything in digital prints. It is absolutely amazing how much digital print can make a difference. Go subtle or bold depending on personal preference and style but try not to go towards the extreme as there is a fine line between a fabulous fashionable ensemble and a fashion disaster.

Embellishments to look out for:A feel of cambric

Resham embroidery: Embellishing any outfit - formal wear or casual suits - with resham embroidery is very common in our part of the world. Resham work is embroidery done with coloured silk thread and the design can be simple or very intricate; it all depends on your choice. One can even add some beads and sequins to add a sparkly dash to the outfit.

Tassels: The easiest way to look on point this season is to have things hanging off your clothes. We are talking about tassels. A bit boho, a bit tickly, the tassel has been spotted on runways and now designers are also incorporating tassels in their casual and semi formal outfits.

This season is all about wearing what you feel comfortable in. Short shirts with straight cuts are still very much in vogue. However, there are many who still prefer wearing longer shirts. So, fret not and go ahead and flaunt your long shirts as well.

Now coming to the lowers to go with your shirts! This season there is a twist and all the designers are experimenting with tulip shalwars, normal shalwars, straight trousers and cropped bell bottoms. Yes, the shirts are either short or long but now you have plenty of options to choose from when it comes to lowers!
