The fortunate month of Ramazan is probably the busiest for Pakistan’s film business, with Eid being one of the two most profitable days of the year for filmmakers. This Eid, as is customary, a number of thrilling films will be released in Pakistan.

For moviegoers, the days building up to the festival are a flurry of excitement and activity. The Eid releases this year are expected to be larger and better than ever before, with some truly thrilling names hitting the big screen. There’s something for everyone, from action-packed movies to crazy robbery heists, local Punjabi tadka to Hollywood flair. So, sit back and take a peek at the films that will be released on Eid ’23!

‘Money Back Guarantee’ is one of the most anticipated films in Pakistan, this Eid. The film is a heist adventure written and produced by comedian Faisal Qureshi that appears to take a satire play on not only the famous show ‘Money Heist,’ but also the category of similar movies itself. Fawad Khan’s ardent admirers will see him return to his comedic origins after the intense Maula Jatt. The film also marks the feature film debut of cricket legend Wasim Akram and his partner Shaneira Akram. The cast also includes Mikaal Zulfiqar, Ayesha Omar, Gohar Rasheed, Kiran Malik and Shayan Khan, among others. The upcoming action-packed Pakistani movie is starring Sonya Hussyn and Mohsin Abbas Haider in pivotal roles. Produced by Neha Laaj and Asif Malik, co-produced by Faisal Malik and Jahanzaib Khan, the movie boasts an uber-talented cast including Adnan Shah Tipu, Shamoon Abbasi, Maira Khan, Hassan Jawed, and Rizwan Ali Jaffri.

Huey Tum Ajnabi

Huey Tum Ajnabi is produced by Kamran Shahid and is based on real events from the 1971 Pakistani civil war that culminated in the formation of Bangladesh.

Mikaal Zulfiqar and Sadia Khan star in the film. Along with them, Shamoon Abbasi, Samina Peerzada, Mehmood Aslam, Sohail Ahmed, and Shafqat Cheema are part of the cast, which is Ayesha Omar’s second big screen premiere this Eid.

Huey Tum Ajnabi is a complete big screen extravaganza that seeks to be total paisa vasool amusement, promising romance, feelings, and plenty of action. If done well, the genres of romance and adventure can easily strike a connection with the audience.

Dorr
