A few days ago news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s move to the UK broke the internet, and sparked such widespread backlash that many started to wonder what exactly happened, or led to the popular phrase ‘sitting ducks’ getting associated with the tots, after they got stuck in traffic on their way to school.

Royal broadcaster Ian Pelham Turner is the one who broke it all down in a conversation with Fox News Digital.

He cited his own sources to offer in-depth insight and said, “according to my sources, Harry and Meghan and their security experts” were “concerned about the length of journey and how potential ambush cars could block their way and hijack the children.”

He also hailed the decision by saying, “I feel this is a very necessary step and giving Harry and Meghan peace of mind.”

For those unversed, the Sussexes currently await a reconsideration on their security review, which has landed in the spotlight once more, after Prince Harry’s case against the Home Office. The only difference this time around is that the King’s letter highlighting his status as a private citizen needing security ended up sparking fears that it might paint the considerations away.
