Ever since Ranbir Kapoor’s break-up with Katrina Kaif, rumours have been abuzz about Deepika Padukone rekindling her romance with her ex-flame. But Ranveer has put all such rumours to rest by visiting Deepika, on the sets of her big Hollywood debut XXX, in Toronto. The news of the surprise visit was revealed by XXX: The Return of Xander Cage director D.J. Caruso. “Special visitor on set today. #RanveerSingh and a very happy #DeepikaPadukone. Great spirit and smile. #Cooldude,” he wrote on Twitter, sharing a picture with the couple.
It was only recently that Deepika admitted to Ranveer being her boyfriend. The two were neither denying nor accepting their relationship in front of media but in a recent interview, post the Filmfare Awards ceremony, Deepika referred to Ranveer as her ‘boyfriend’ and said that she tries her best to make her “relationship easier” by always being honest about her feelings.
