After wowing Karachi and Lahore with its star-studded presence, the cast of upcoming Pakistani film Bin Roye landed in Dubai for the official music launch of the much-awaited feature.
Mahira Khan and Armeena Rana Khan, the fe
male stars of the show, represented
the best of Pakistani fashion in their stylist attires, the former in a demure white Feeha Jamshed number and the latter in a bottle green Sania Maskatiya organza dress. Keeping them company was the suave Humayun Saeed along with the film’s director Momina Duraid.
The press conference unveiled four out of the six songs that make up the soundtrack of the movie, which features a dazzling array of vocal talent from both India and Pakistan.
From our very own Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Parveen and Shiraz Uppal to Ankit Tiwari and Rekha Bhardwaj from across the border, the names attached with the Bin Roye soundtrack are enough to leave any fan of filmi music super-excited. Add to that the fact that Bin Roye promises to be an intense love-story, the kind of which has been missing from our cinema screens for a while, and you have myriad reasons to look forward to the film.
Speaking to Khaleej Times about her experience of working in the movie, the gorgeous Mahira said, “I don’t know how to lure you guys into watching it but it really has some beautiful moments, lovely songs and I think we have a pretty awesome cast as well. Bin Roye for me is the journey of our lives.” The Humsafar star also described her experience of working opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Raees.
“Everybody on the set was very talented. It was a surreal experience. It was a tremendous learning experience. It is a different world altogether, people speak the same language but the scale of the movie is much bigger. It was interesting to work with the kind of actors I did, Shah Rukh Khan especially. For sure, I have shed another layer as an actor, I have come back much more confident and content.”
Bin Roye is the first Pakistani movie that will be released simultaneously in Pakistan and the UAE on Eid and we are definitely going to be booking our tickets early for this one.
