Ahsan Rahim’s upcoming film, Teefa in Trouble starring Ali Zafar in the titular role alongside an extensive cast that includes Maya Ali, Jawed Sheikh, Mehmood Aslam, Simi Raheal, Nayyar Ejaz, Faisal Qureshi and many others, has finally arrived and it packs quite a punch.

With a running time of three minutes, it tells you the basic premise of the film with flair and in doing so has set a new standard for the film industry as an action-comedy.

In the film, Ali Zafar plays Teefa, ace enforcer, collector, and lovable rogue. From the city of Lahore, he heads to foreign shores (Warsaw, Poland) on instructions of one Butt Sahab (Mehmood Aslam), a Lahori gangster to kidnap Anya (Maya Ali), the daughter of one Polish gangster Bonzo (Jawed Sheikh) and bring her home so she can wed Butt’s beloved son ‘Billu Butt’. Between Bonzo’s goons, Butt’s goons and the cops is Teefa who is really in trouble this time.

Slick stunts, sharp cinematography, great comedic moments and a killer OST are just some of the reasons why Teefa in Trouble is one upcoming film detractors and fans of Pakistani cinema could come together on. Most of all, the production value is very high and unlike anything else we’ve seen in local films thus far, which bodes well for the film’s future.

The trailer was unveiled in Karachi just last week with Ali Zafar, Maya Ali, Jawed Sheikh and director Ahsan Rahim in attendance. Since then, it has crossed 750,000 views.
