His next, The Motorcycle Girl, is also a biopic on Zenith Irfan who travels across different parts of the country on a motorbike. Starring Sohai Ali Abro, who is currently playing the protagonist in drama serial Aadhi Gawahi besides other TV plays, the film enters its production stage.
Sarwar recently took to Instagram and shared, “The start of a new journey. Camera rolls for The Motorcycle Girl,” announcing that the film’s shooting has begun.
The Motorcycle Girl follows the story of a 21-year-old girl, Zenith, who is said to be the first Pakistani female to make a solo motorcycle journey through northern areas of the country.
“It is an absolute honour to play Zenith in his (Adnan Sarwar) film,” Sohai Ali Abro stated earlier in press statement. “The role of this incredible, empowered female is one that I can relate to and is close to my heart. I have always believed in liberating the power of our women, especially considering the taboos we face in our society, and I am really happy that a lot of young girls would be able to look up to me for doing something positive and inspiring.”
