US pop star Ariana Grande’s Manchester Arena concert proved to be a horrific night for everyone including the attendees as well as the organizers. A terror attack struck Grande’s concert on Monday midnight that resulted in the death of 22 people and left dozens more injured.

Though the incident didn’t harm Grande physically, it left her “broken” much like the rest of the world who saw the events unfold on news channels, social media and so on. Few hours after the news of the incident broke, Grande took to her Twitter account and expressed her grief. “Broken! From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don’t have words.”

The incident took place after Grande’s performance ended around 10:30pm local time, when the audience including young children and teens were about to leave the venue. According to latest reports, the explosion was a suicide attack.

Apart from the predictable show of support for the United Kingdom from world leaders, celebrities and pop stars also expressed their grief and horror in the aftermath. Rapper Nicki Minaj, who is friends with Grande and also shared vocals on Grande’s reggae-pop song ‘Side to Side’, was one of them.

“My heart hurts for my sister, Ariana & every family affected by this tragic event in the U.K.” Minaj tweeted. “Innocent lives lost. I’m so sorry to hear this.”

Taylor Swift on the other hand tweeted, “My thoughts, prayers and tears for all those affected by the Manchester tragedy tonight. I’m sending all my love.”
