Having been involved with Cornetto Pop Rock since its inaugural edition which emerged last year, Hussain has delivered several commercial hits via the platform. But it looks like his upcoming collaboration with singer-songwriter Maria Unera could be the best from the lot.

Having been involved with Cornetto Pop Rock since its inaugural edition which emerged last year, Hussain has delivered several commercial hits via the platform. But it looks like his upcoming collaboration with singer-songwriter Maria Unera could be the best from the lot.
The song, which is called ‘Aajana’ and is currently in the process of getting its own music video, was heard by a select group of music fans who made up the audience of a Cornetto Pop Rock gig that was staged in Lahore this past week.
During the course of the night, Josh duo (Hussain alongside Rup Magon) also took the stage and sang their famous numbers while Hussain and Unera combined forces on stage as well.
Speaking to the media about ‘Aajana’, Hussain stated: “The song is about searching your soul-mate. We have recently completed the video shoot in Lahore; the music video will be released very soon.”
Explaining the concept further, Hussain noted, “Sometimes you just put out a call to the universe wanting to find your true love, and the universe answers, but you have to work for it… Amaan (the director) has interpreted that in an extremely modern and fresh manner in the video.”
In addition to his participation in Cornetto Pop Rock, Hussain is also attached to produce four songs for the soundtrack of an upcoming film called Rangreza which stars Bilal Ashraf and Urwa Hocane in principal roles.
