Taylor Swift offers sneak peek at 'mysterious' ‘Patient Zero’ music video

Patient Zero was part of the Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, an expanded album Taylor Swift announced a day ago.

Its music video is coming and features Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell.

However, the video's plotline is unclear. Instead, it unfolds as a mysterious, dramatic performance.

In the clip, Swift and Dakota are at a bathroom sink, mirroring each other before diving into the water.

Later, both icons stand at a grave, without explaining whose it is.

After that, Swift is in tears as the shot focuses on her engagement ring.

Meanwhile, Colin Farrell also enters the frame, getting out of a car.

Meanwhile, at the MTV VMAs, she is the first recipient of MTV VMA Artist Director Honors.

Announced by CBS and MTV, the award recognizes those who directed their own music videos.
