Featuring Ayesha Omar and choreographer Hasan Rizvi, the single, titled ‘Turn Up The Music Mr DJ’, is slated to release in the coming days ahead and will be part of Cornetto Pop Rock 2.
Directed by Wajahat Rauf, who spearheaded movies such as Karachi Se Lahore and Lahore Se Aagey, the music video for the song is being shot in Karachi. The song is a dance number that features a group of dancers alongside Omar and Rizvi. Qurram Hussain, popularly known as Q, is also featured in the music video and will be seen dancing to the rhythm alongside Rizvi and Omar.
Hussain recently took to Facebook to share his experience of shooting for the video. “Trying to keep up with Ayesha Omar and Hasan Rizvi ain’t no easy task but I’m in it to win it!” he posted.
Hussain’s earlier duet with Komal Rizvi ‘Desan Da Raja’ won the Google Award for being the fourth most watched video in Pakistan on YouTube. Therefore, expectations from this upcoming single are fairly high. In addition, Hussain is also collaborating with another artist for a seperate song. Time will tell who that artist is.
Other artists who will feature in the upcoming second season of Cornetto Pop Rock will be revealed at a launch event that is scheduled to take place today. Rocker Ali Azmat is slated to perform. The upcoming season two of Cornetto Pop Rock will, like its preceding season, also feature six music videos.
